Lately....

Here's a few things that have been happening around the Hadfield household.

Ahem....this first one doesn't really need an explanation. The boys were sick for a few days, but are feeling much better.

Crazy hair runs in the family.

I figured out a way to tame her crazy hair, but I have to ask, is she too little for a pony tail? It doesn't hurt her, and it's not too tight, but I just don't know.

Jordan and Sam combined their birthday money to buy a snow cone maker. They have been in snow cone heaven.

My dryer broke, so I've been drying everything on my deck.

It's pretty annoying, but you have to admit all those socks lined up in a row are adorable. Plus, it kind of makes me feel like a pioneer.

This picture was an accident, but I love it. It makes me giggle.

Hannah started eating solids.

There was a crazy cool rainstorm that made some awesome clouds in front of my house.

And it's that time of year when my bathtub looks like this when the boys are done bathing.

Jordan's birthday evening

So we went to Olive Garden for lunch on Jordan's birthday then later that night we had a little celebration with our little family. We gave him the Angry Bird game he had been wanting. He was pretty excited.

Then we sang "Happy Birthday" and had some chocolate cake. (I'm pretty sure I scrubbed the spaghetti sauce off his face after dinner, but the flash made it show up, or something. I don't remember him being so saucy!)

Jill's baby shower

Okay, first of all, I edited all of these photos, and for whatever reason it didn't save my changes. So pretend the photos that need to be rotated or cropped, are. You'll see which ones....

Anyway, I threw a baby shower for my sister-in-law, Jill, last week. She is going to have a baby boy in a few months and we couldn't be happier. Todd and Jill got married last year and had an immediate little family because she already had two beautiful girls, Amelia and Lily. We are excited for baby Porter to join their family!

I had so much fun planning this shower, maybe too much fun. It was in the late afternoon so we did desserts and fruit/veggies. I baked for three days straight. It was cray-cray....so much so that I just used the phrase "cray-cray." It's almost been a week and I think I'm finally recovering from this shower. :)

Here's the food table. And yes, everything is from pinterest.

So, I made mini fruit pizzas

cookies

Mini pudding pies

 Fudge Rolo brownies (so good!)

Strawberry shortcake skewers

Sunshine cupcakes

Oh, so happy!

And then the food that's good for you...(thank goodness Jill's mom and sister's helped with this!)

We opened gifts and I had everyone fill out a little cards with wishes for baby.

Look how cute that monster onesie is!

My sister stole the show with her brand new engagement ring...

My aunt with Hannah.

Congratulations Jill, we are excited for you!

Why, yes. I am posting something new.

Have you ever had a dream where you were so mad at someone that when you woke up you were still mad? Last night I was SO mad at Benji in my dream. I was throwing things at him and throwing temper tantrums and when I woke up I couldn't shake it off right away....so it's a good thing he left his laptop home today. That helped me get over my silly anger. :)

Jordan and Sam aren't feeling so great today, so we're having a sick day (they're watching a movie right now), so I have some time to post something. I am just adding my latest pictures, ALL 600 OF THEM (!), to the laptop and then I just have to figure out what to say first.

In the past two weeks I have celebrated two birthdays, thrown a baby shower, launched a few rockets and Hannah was blessed. Where should I start?

I guess we'll go in order. On April 20th it was Jordan's fifth birthday. We were planning on an awesome Angry bird party on the 21st, so on his birthday we went to lunch with my mom and grandma. Jordan wanted to go somewhere where they would sing to him, so he chose the Olive Garden. I didn't complain, it's one of my favorites.

But first we started the day with birthday waffles....

Then we went to Olive Garden

My boys love their drinks...hehe

Then they brought a cake and we sang to Jordan

Then Jordan opened his present from Grandma and Grandma Great

He's five!

Benji got called into work, so we went to Bountiful for a little bit. I took a few pictures of Jordan with his new ball that he named "Throw Catch."

Happy birthday to my big boy! I will post the birthday party later. This took me all day!!

Computer? More like a com-poo-ter

Yeah, I act like a seven year old sometimes..... I have a lot of things to post, but my computer isn't working, so the only way to post is on my Nook or Benji's laptop. The only way to post pictures is on the laptop, so I can only work on posts at night. Stay tuned.....
