We wondered how Jordan would react to Sam, and I have to say it's been kind of funny. Jordan will not acknowledge Sam at all. I think he thinks "if I don't look at the baby and I don't hear about the baby, there is no baby." Whenever we ask Jordan about Sam he will change the subject or run away. Yesterday he started coughing every time I started talking about Sam, and would keep fake coughing until I was done. It's actually made me realize how clever Jordan really is. What a big boy I have! :)
This is my favorite picture that was taken in the hospital. We were trying to get a picture of my mom, Sam, and Jordan posing together and looking like a happy little family, but Jordan refused to get too close to the baby.My favorite part is the look on his face. It's like he's saying, "I'm winning!!" He knows exactly what he's doing, and I think it's funny. Hopefully he will soon realize little brothers are perfect to blame all your misdeeds on--oh! and they're fun to play with!

Congratulations! Sam is absolutely beautiful. I'm glad everything went well for you. Jordan will learn to love him soon.
Well, ignoring his brother is better than hitting him. Congratulations! Sam is adorable.
Jordan's not alone in his feelings. I've got a neighbor whose little boy asked to throw their new baby in the garbage. No worries, Sam'll grow on him.
I'm loving to hear about all this. It is pretty cute. You are doing a great job. The flashlight idea . . . pure genius. Make sure you get enough rest. Love all the pictures.
