14 days

I have TWO WEEKS until this baby is born. Lately I've been feeling like I can't wait until she gets here and it can't come soon enough. Well, last night before I went to bed I started panicking! My heart rate started going up as I thought about the idea of having a newborn and a total of THREE kids. Am I realllllly ready for this? I'm a little (or a lot) nervous! Then to top it all off I had a dream that I had her and set her down somewhere in my house and lost her. Great, now I have to worry about that too!

Playing in the laundry chute

My boys love our laundry chute. Luckily they haven't learned how to climb down it, like maybe I did at my grandma's house when I was younger.

Now, I just have to say this, but I have never noticed how many water stains were in my laundry chute until I took this picture. It's kind of gross, but without a camera flash, you would never even know they are there! :)

Just in time for Halloween.

This huge spider decided to move in right by my front door.
It tried it's hardest to look like a scary Halloween decoration.

But I wasn't fooled and I sprayed it with ant spray (it's the only thing I could find).

200 club

I think it might be socially unacceptable to talk about weight, but I'm going to anyway.

I gain A LOT of weight when I'm pregnant, it just happens and I'm okay with it. I started out at about 120 lbs and I now weigh 183. Yeah. My husband is trying to lose a few pounds and I now weigh his goal weight, that's kind of embarrassing.

Anyway, I can't decide if I should just throw caution to the wind and see if I can get to 200 lbs because I kind of think it would be funny. Then I think of how unhealthy that would be and I probably shouldn't. But seriously, I've never been this close to 200, it's my only chance!!

Things you probably don't want to know, but I'm going to tell you anyway.

I have been craving Fiber One cereal. The bran kind that has 57% of your daily fiber in a 1/2 cup. I eat it for breakfast with strawberries in it and I LOVE it. I haven't tried eating it twice in one day because I can just imagine what 30 grams of fiber from just cereal would do to me. BUT I reallllllly want it, all the time. Just thought you should know the torture I am feeling right now. :)

Friends?

Sam has one hand on his bunny costume and one hand on his brother. I was going to say he's keeping the things he loves within reach, but now that I think of it he might be following the saying, "keep your friends close and your enemies closer." Maybe? :)

Bruises and black eye

Sam has been smashing up his face lately (poor guy). I was trying to get a picture of his black eye and other boo-boos, but it wasn't going as planned because Jordan wanted in on the photo shoot.

1st here is Sam's face. He has a black eye because he was doing a bunny dance and smashed into the coffee table, he has a bruise under his lip because he face planted from his high chair onto the kitchen table and he has the bloody chin from face planting it from the couch onto our coffee table. Maybe we should get rid of all tables in our house?

Anyway, as I was trying to get a picture, Jordan slowly started sneaking in the picture, just a little bit at first:
Then a little more:
Then he wiggled in the picture completely, I'm not sure if Sam appreciated it.

P.S. This was right after Sam's bath and right before Jordan's, so that is why 1) they are naked. 2) the bed is wet and 3) why Jordan has a messy messy face.

Sam the bunny

Sam loves to pretend he's a bunny. It is just so cute that for Halloween I decided to get him a bunny costume. It was kind of difficult to find one that wasn't pink, but I finally did and Sam is so excited. He looks adorable in it and he can't wait until Halloween. On the first day we had the costume Sam sneaked* out of his bed, went into my room, found his costume and snuggled up to it in my bed. What a cutie.

*I hate the word sneaked.

New floors

My dad came and helped me tear out the carpet in our hallway a few weeks ago. My front room has hardwood floors and they actually continue through the entire top level of my house, so we sanded and stained the hall and now I don't have to worry about the gross carpet that used to be there! I love hardwood floors because not only do they look nice, but I don't have to freak out every time my kids walk on them.
The smell of the finish that we put on top of the floor was SO strong that I thought we would have to sleep at Benji's parents house that night. Luckily a breeze started blowing through the house that evening and the smell kind of went away. The boys had a slumber party in the basement bedroom. They loved sleeping on the floor and they were being such hams right before bed.

That weekend was a crazy packed weekend of house improvements. Benji and his dad fixed up our deck with stain and deck restore, Benji's mom painted our downstairs bedroom and my dad did the hall while I kind of helped, but mostly sat on the couch. Thank you to everyone for your help, it's nice to get home improvement projects done now because if it takes awhile to sell our house at least we can enjoy them for awhile!

Haircut and 33 weeks picture

Okay, fine. Here is a picture of me with my haircut. I love my haircut, but I realized I cut it at a time when I hate my picture taken so it wasn't happening as fast as everyone wanted! :)

So my hair didn't end up being as choppy as I wanted, but I still really like it. It's kind of nice that it isn't too choppy though because that maybe would have been too big of a change all at once. When I get my first trim, I'll probably change it up a little bit. Anyway, here it is. Thanks for being patient.

Oh, and just so you know, I donated 10 inches and cut an additional 3 inches!!
