I voted

It's kind of a tradition for me to take a picture of me voting. This is the third presidential election I've voted in, but unfortunately my photographer was Jordan, so my photo is pretty blurry. Oh well.

Also, see how Sam has a hat on, that story will be coming along shortly. Let's just say I let Benji give Sam a haircut.

Halloween

Here is Jordan all dressed up ready for school.

We went to Jordan's school to watch the costume parade.

Sam giving another Iron Man a high five! :)

Jordan was so funny, he folded his arms the whole time he walked through the school. So reverent!

Then I followed him out to recess and got some pictures....yeah, I'm that mom. Don't worry, he wasn't embarrassed, he wanted me to stay the whole time.

This is his best friend Abby. Jordan was a little awkward for this picture. hahaha

Carving pumpkins

We started off the evening with dinner in a pumpkin and orange jack-o-lantern soda.I guess I probably should have gotten before shot, but here are the boys all done with dinner, messy faces and all.

Then we started carving. The boys drew faces on their pumpkins with markers and Benji and I carved them. I tried to stay exactly on the lines that Sam drew. They both had different ideas of what they wanted their pumpkin to look like and they both ended up being adorable.

Sam giving his pumpkin a huge hug.

Sam's pumpkin all lit up on the porch.

My pumpkin had such thick skin that I could not cut it with a knife no matter how hard I tried. I ended up giving up, but made sure to get a picture with it.

This is Jordan's pumpkin....so cute!

And this is Benji's freakish looking pumpkin. He tried to give it realistic teeth. Dentists are so weird.

Trick-or-treat

My mom was here on Halloween so she took some pictures of our family. I wish I would have shown her how to use my camera because most of them were blurry. Oh well, we got a few good ones.

We ate dinner and then we were off to go trick-or-treating. The boys were so excited.

They had to show me what they got at each house.

She looks like the Hulk, but was pretty chill the whole night. She loved the stroller ride.

Look at Jordan leaning on the wall. hahaha

I knew the night was done when they would knock on a door and then sit down on the porch until the people answered the door.

Leaf pile

This post has a TON of pictures. Today I was raking up all of our leaves, but before throwing them away I had to make sure I let my kids jump in them and throw them.

Ready......

Set.........

Go!

This is what they looked like right after they threw leaves on me!

I love that she holds her arms like that when she walks.
