This kid needs a pool....

...or something better than my homemade water table.

Since Jordan can happily spend hours in the bathtub making "waterfalls", I decided to try something new. I filled a Tupperware drawer with water and put it on our back porch for Jordan to splash in. He loved it! Right away he was sitting by it making big waterfalls, then he started dropping rocks in it to watch them splash, then the next thing I know he's sitting in it.

A good teacher

Whenever Jordan is playing basketball and Sam is around he lets me know that he is teaching Sam how to play. What a great big brother!

He'd be so mad at me if he knew

This was taken at my cabin over the weekend. I made them become friends. Bwah haha!

Tubby

Yes, another bath picture. He always looks so cute in his little tub, I just can't help myself!

It's official!

Dr. Hadfield is a working man! It's his first day of work today. Earlier, Jordan told me in a sweet high pitched "mommy" voice, "Daddy's gone. Daddy work. Daddy fixes teeth. Come home later." I think he was worried about how I felt about the whole thing.

Pinching pennies

Really Loma Linda?!! 270,000 dollars isn't enough?

There's no buddy like a brother

Here are some pics. of my boys I took about a week ago. Moments like these don't last long so I was taking pictures so quickly I wasn't really paying attention, and now I wish I took a little more time because I wish they were focused on Sam's face and not Jordan's head. Oh well, you can definitely see how much Sam loves his older brother.

What is it with boys and huge TVs?

Notice how none of them are looking at me?

During dinner tonight....

"Salad is SO AWESOME!"

*Sorry, pretty gross picture, it just helped tell the story. :)

Jordan's big boy bed

Jordan LOVES his new bed. When we have visitors he immediately wants to show it off. He's been doing awesome sleeping in it, but we have had a few funny moments. There have been many times when I go to check on him and he will be sleeping with most of his toys. Seriously, the toys will be taking up 90% of the bed and Jordan will squeeze in the remaining space to sleep. I have gone in to find him on the floor numerous times, and once I found him half on the bed and half on the floor.

I'm also way happy because Jordan loves his room. He spends most of his time playing in it, and actually it is one of my favorite rooms in the house too. These pictures don't do it justice, but here it is.

I've since added blue frames around those pictures, and that cool leaf above Jordan's bed is now attached to the wall. He loves sleeping under a leaf! I have to add that this room is the ultimate yard sale room. I think I've spent less than $200 on everything in this room. That includes all furniture, drapes, pictures, lions, wicker baskets, toy holders, hamper and bedding. Sure it doesn't match, but someday I'll be able to afford something like that! :)

I sent him to Walmart for diapers.....

....and this is what we bought.

Benji didn't want me to post this picture because he didn't want it to look like we're showing off. But really, it's our first HUGE purchase after graduating, (next to those Sam's Club candybars, of course!) and come on, it is one huge TV, it deserves some recognition.

Looking for airplanes

Lately Jordan loves to look out our back door while eating breakfast and lunch to look for airplanes.

Jordan has been loving living in Utah. He loves living close to Nana and Grandpa and he loves seeing all of his cousins. He loves that our house has stairs. But there have been a couple times when he has asked to take a bath in California, and he always talks about Jonas, Jake and Alisa. He misses his friends!

A tough blessing

I'm so excited because as of yesterday Sam loves to sit in his swing or car seat and look at and play with toys. I love having little breaks in the day to make dinner, put on makeup, or play with Jordan. Having a cuddly baby is a sweet curse and/or a tough blessing.

While I was zoomed in on Sam I suddenly saw this in my view finder! :)

Sam's Club

This is what happens when you use your super cool new Sam's Club card for the first time without a plan.

Moving

It took forever to make this video and then come to find out I have to pay money to caption the pictures. So they aren't captioned, but there isn't much more to know than we moved, it was hard work, we survived. I would like to mention that the last 5 pictures are of beautiful Brigham City, and the last 2 are of the view from our front yard! (Oh, and that I did help Benji move stuff to the truck...this video makes it look like I didn't do much..haha)
