Rice cereal

My baby is getting too big. Already eating solids!? He liked the rice cereal for the most part, but I think he wasn't liking trying to figure out how to swallow it so he soon blocked his mouth with his tongue.

Aggie Blue and White Game

I'm so excited for football season! We went to the Utah State Blue and White game last week and it made me even more excited. It's hard to tell if the Aggies are going to be good when they are playing other Aggies, but I'm hoping for a good season. Anyway, we had fun watching the game, and then had even more fun after on the field getting autographs from the players and running around. Jordan found a grasshopper, he liked that more than the game, the players, or the free Laffy Taffy. Okay, maybe not as much as the Laffy Taffy.Jordan met his hero, Big Blue. Look at the admiration in his cute two year old eyes.

My cute Aggie family.

Apparently we like pictures of our backs. :)

Sam just blew bubbles the whole time.

My cute freshman sister. Stay away boys.

Yeah, that's my ball going through the ring.

Mr. Splashy Pants

Last Saturday Benji took Jordan fishing at Box Elder Creek for his "turn-out". I think Jordan enjoyed himself until Benji pulled in this beauty and it landed right next to Jordan on the bank and started flopping around. The fish was 19 inches and probably over 3 lbs. The fish was pretty big as far as fishes go, but if you know how small Box Elder Creek is the fish is legendary.

This is how Jordan felt about the fish.

This is how Sam felt about the fish.

I can lift my head up while I'm on my tummy now. Doing it without drooling is a little more difficult!

Brother's Day

I bet you didn't know that last Friday was Brother's Day. I bet you didn't even know there was a holiday called Brother's Day. That's because my husband invented it. Benji celebrated by going fishing with his brother. Jordan and Sam celebrated by sleeping in the same room for the first time. This is the only picture I managed to get of them on that day. Jordan is yelling, "Happy Brother's Day!!"Just so you know Brother's Day is observed on the Friday following the first new moon after August 1st. Next year it is on Sept. 2nd.

You can learn more about Brother's Day and even promote this wholesome, family-oriented holiday by visiting the Facebook Fan Page.

Potty song

Before Jordan fell asleep for his nap today he sang (yelled) this lovely rendition of "We Will Rock You" for 15 minutes and at the top of his lungs.

"We will, we will POOP you! We will, we will POOP you!!"

Actually....

Here is a conversation that Jordan had with himself at the park today.

"What's this?"
"It's a big, huge waterfall!"
"Actually, it's a wasserfaelle."

Wasserfaelle is how you say waterfalls in German.

Sam's laugh!

Sam laughed for the first time yesterday. I was so excited I got a headache from playing peek-a-boo so much! I did manage to capture a few chuckles, but I wish I would have thought of this when he was laughing hard. Oh well. it's still cute. By the way, I'm sorry about having to yell, "Boo!" into the mic of the camera!

Samuel's baby blessing

Sam seems ready for his uncle's endless teasing!

Jordan found Winnie the Pooh in the tree! :)

Four generations.

It's surprising that I got a picture of Jordan smiling because he was mostly acting like this next picture.....
