Yard Sale Treasure

I love yard sales. I don't know what is so pleasurable about looking through used junk, but I like it. Occasionally I find something I just can't live without. I found this lion for a whopping fifty cents, and couldn't pass on it. I mostly bought it because it fits in with Jordan's jungle room, and thought it would be a cute decoration. I didn't realize Jordan would love it so much. It was so worth the 50 cents!

I haven't been to a yardsale since high school. You've convinced me that I've got to go back. What's your method? Do you stop at whichever random sales you happen to come across, or search the classifieds for the best looking ones? Love that lion!

By the way, I love your blog too. I'm so glad you jumped on the bandwagon.

I check Craigslist for local yard sales. I'll find one or two that I really want to go to, but usually on the way I'll find a few more. There is a neighborhood in Redlands that always has yard sales, so if I don't have time to check on-line, I just go there. I love it.

I'm glad you like my blog. Thanks for looking at it.

There was one time when we were looking for one in San Bernardino. We kept thinking we'd found it because we'd see a yard with lots of stuff in it, but then we realized that we were just in San Bernardino and that's what the yards look like.

I still want you to shop for me too! I went to a yard sale last week and found a bunch of awesome stuff! You have definitely inspired me to look for awesome things in new places.
