This post contains 0g of fiber.

Watch out world!! The Hadfields are eating more fiber! Benji wants to lose a little weight, and has been so good at making it to the Drayson Center everyday for a vigorous swim. I decided to help by offering a better diet. So, we are eating more fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and beans. Benji said last night that he already feels a lot better, and his pants fit a little better for church. I have more energy, and love that our meals are so colorful. We spend a lot more time in the produce section at the grocery store, which makes Jordan happy because he thinks he's surrounded by a bunch of basketballs. The cantaloupes, watermelons, apples and even grapes are all balls.
I don't want to bore with all the details of what we eat, so I'll just use breakfast as an example. We used to eat a bowl of cereal (usually something sugary) with skim milk for breakfast for a total of 1-5 grams of fiber depending on the cereal. Now we eat 1/2 cup of bran cereal with fresh blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries on top (almost 20 grams of fiber!), whole grain toast, and a few apple, peach, or cantaloupe slices (another 3-5 grams of fiber).
The only down side to eating so many fruits and veggies is our fridge. It's packed! Here's a picture:

I've really enjoyed trying new recipes that call for lots of fiber, and adding extra veggies, and beans to the recipes already in the regular rotation. If any of you have good, healthy recipes send them my way.
Now do you know why I have to make my own baby wipes? (Ha! I just had to throw in a good fiber joke somewhere!)

I want the recipes. So you may as well post them, or create a new blog for them! I still need to finish losing this baby weight and could use a little more fiber myself! ;)
