Happy birds

Yesterday Jordan woke up two hours early from his nap. I could hear him jumping in his bed and yelling. I was curious why he was making such a ruckus so I peaked in his room, and noticed the loudest sound of chirping and singing birds I have ever heard in my house. I didn't notice it in the kitchen or front room, but in Jordan's room the noise was LOUD. I went outside to investigate, and this is what I found:

This picture doesn't even do the event justice. There were hundreds of birds!
I don't think I've ever been so angry at chirping, happy birds in all my life. I tried to chase them away, but only half of them fell for it and actually flew.

I babysat Jonas at my house yesterday, and every time I turned around they were posing for a picture. Here are a few of them.

This one is my favorite. Jonas put his arm around Jordan just as I was taking the picture, and I'm guessing it surprised Jordan just a little.

Jordan's expression in that last picture is hilarious! Totally my favorite too.

I think we should look into the conspiracy happy chirping birds have against Jordan's nap. I think the government may have something to do with it.

I have those same crazy birds at my house too... they are actually quite interesting to watch, that is when you don't have a toddler sleeping!
