The Summer of Stay-Cationing

I feel like it's important to have a very fun summer with my boys. Not only am I about to have another baby, but she'll be born winter, so we probably won't be able to leave the house for awhile once she is here. Then to top it off, next summer we might not get out very much because I don't have enough arms for that.

Since Benji already travels to Bountiful everyday anyway, we can just catch a ride with him and we really won't be wasting much gas.

So here's my list. Some of these things can be done on the same day so hopefully we can get through the list.

-This is the place Heritage Park
-Tracy Aviary
-Wheeler Farm
-Discocery Gateway Children's museum
-Fort Douglas
-Gardner Village
-Hill Air Force Base
-Boondocks (this will probably be a Saturday activity with dad too)
-Temple Square
-A Bees game
-Utah State Fair
-Hogle Zoo
-International Peace Gardens
-Bingham Copper Mine
-Treehouse Children's museum
-A ride on the Front runner to Salt Lake
-Hardware Ranch
-Willow Park Zoo
-George Eccles Dinosaur Park
-Ogden Nature Center
-Gateway fountains
-Brigham City pool
-Thanksgiving Point
-Fishing at Mayor's pond
-the living planet aquarium

I haven't really looked into prices of these things, so hopefully they aren't too much money. Usually you don't have to pay for kids 2 and under though, so another good reason to get out this summer is that it's my last chance to take Sam places for free!

P.S. Is there anything you would add to my list?

I love the Aquarium in Sandy. They have a manta ray touch area the boys might enjoy. With that one if may be cheaper to get a yearly pass and go more than once.

Oh yeah, I really do want to add the aquarium to my list because Jordan is in love with penguins right now! Thanks for reminding me!! :)

It's a little farther down the road but Mindy's boys love the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving point. You also should check out the Bountiful rec center. I haven't been for a long time but I understand the kiddie pool there is great. Mindy and Garry got annual passes when they lived in Woods Cross. It has a lot to offer.

Oh, we can't wait for the Bountiful rec center! We will probably do that a few times this summer. It's nice that we have someone going that direction every day so we can ride along.
