Jordan language
If you only have one bruise it's called a brew. Multiple brew=bruise.
The past tense of float = flute.

Carrots
This picture makes me laugh because Sam was so excited and happy about eating, but when I took his picture I caught him with a sad look on his face. It looks like he's in trouble or something.

Happy Birthday Grandma Great!
Happy Birthday to my lovely, sweet, full-of-life, grandma! We are blessed to have such a wonderful woman in our lives.
First time holding Jordan. (Grandma, I don't have a picture of you and Sam yet! We need to get on top of that!)
It's kind of sad that this is the only four generation picture we have. Brigham City pool is an awesome back drop! :)
My grandma is a social butterfly. She loves going to movies, out to eat, on vacations, or just hanging out together at home. I remember growing up we used to have a goal of staying up later than Grandma on New Year's and she usually won.

BYU game
Benji and I were lucky enough to travel to Provo last week to watch BYU embarrass themselves against Florida State. So lucky.

This was my first time in Lavell Edwards stadium. I love how close the mountains are, it is beautiful.
We were on the "ledge seats" which are on the very top row. I actually really liked them because we had that wall right behind us, so we had a nice backrest and we had about 5 feet in front of us so we had lots of leg room. We also didn't have to worry if we stood the whole time.
This was the view right behind us. It's a beautiful campus (but not nearly as beautiful as Utah State!)

I took this picture to show that we were right next to the scoreboard. Benji was cheering...not yawning.

We'll probably be okay
One of my worst fears came true yesterday--I fell down the stairs while holding Sam! I've always thought how scary it would be if that ever happened, and I'm here to tell you, it was scary. Luckily, we are both okay, and neither one of us was hurt (except for a few rug burns on my elbow, which I'll gladly take for the team!) I was cradling Sam in my arms because he was asleep and I was trying to transfer him to his car seat without waking him up when I slipped on the very top step. I started falling forward, and luckily caught myself so I fell back instead, but because of that my arms automatically went back to catch myself. So I ended up dropping (throwing) Sam. I screamed, "HELP ME!" as soon as he left my arms because I was so sure he was going to fly down all the stairs. I reached out and grabbed his hand though and brought him back towards my body, and he luckily landed on my legs. He did bonk the back of the head on the stairs, but thankfully only barely because I had slowed his body down with mine. He woke up and cried for about 10 seconds and fell back asleep. Thank goodness!! Anyway, I gave everyone a good scare with my scream. Jordan ran to the kitchen crying and I've never seen Benji move so fast in my life. He ran to the stairs just in time to see Sam bonk his head.
So we're all okay, so I'm not really sure why I'm posting this. Just be careful on the stairs. And throw away old slippery flip flops.

My smiley, curly headed, drooling baby.
It seems like I get thousands of good pictures of Sam a day. Too many to post. Sometimes I feel like I need to get some cute ones of Jordan so I can post them together, but as it gets easier to take cute pictures of Sam, it gets harder to take pictures of Jordan. Blame it on their ages. Anyway, this post is dedicated to my cute smiley,

drooling,

sometimes smiley and drooly at the same time,
tongue protruding,
cute as a button baby.

Why I can't take pictures of my boys together...
Jordan doesn't want to get too close to Sam, and Sam just wants to roll over and play with Jordan.
Jordan won't look at the camera because he's two (well, in this picture it's because he has a cookie, but usually he's just being difficult) and Sam won't look at the camera because he LOVES his brother.
If I have Jordan stand behind me I can usually get some good pictures of Sam though. (Can you tell he just loves Jordan!?)

Rain + Sunset = Beautiful Mountains
I stepped outside to get the mail after a downpour and this is what I saw. The clouds had separated, the sun came out and was setting to make this beautiful orange glow on the mountains. Everything looked so vivid and it smelled wonderful! I love the rain!

Jordan claims he and Benji hiked to the B. They really haven't, but Benji will take Jordan on that hike someday.

My new obsession
Green smoothies!!
Whenever fruit goes on sale lately I will buy it in bulk, flash freeze it on a cookie sheet, and then store in ziplock baggies. I have been getting amazing deals on berries and my in-laws have been giving us fresh and delicious nectarines from their tree so I have about 20 bags of frozen fruit in my freezer, but it is worth it! It's so easy to grab a handful of fruit from each bag, throw it in the blender and then add fresh spinach, romaine lettuce, carrots, and/or broccoli. They are so yummy, even Jordan loves them. They are perfect for breakfast or a delicious snack!
