What do you do when it's super cold outside?

So once it started getting cold here we didn't know what to do with ourselves. After all, we have been pretty spoiled with wonderful weather in California for four years. Unfortunately, we can't go to the park everyday like we did in San Bernardino, so we've been trying to figure out fun things to do inside. I found this awesome website, and I love it. It has totally saved the day. I've been trying to get Jordan interested in art projects for awhile, but he wasn't showing the least bit of interest. This website is full of fun and cool art projects for preschoolers and now Jordan loves when we make art!

She has an awesome category on the website called "letter of the day" and we started with those. I think they are so cute, fun and a great way to review letters. Here is the cute A is for Alligator project. We've done all the letters up to the letter 'H' and they are all equally as cute.

Basically, I think she does an art project with her son every day, so you'll be sure to find something you love. Jordan had a blast putting together this shape dinosaur.

Anyway, what the heck do all of you do when it's cold outside? I'm sure we'll have fun doing art projects all winter, but that only takes up a small portion of the morning. Help.

that is so cool! thanks for the great idea! i'm going to start doing that. what we do very often lately is play the soundtrack to "star wars" and run around the living room in circles pretending that we're shooting darth vader with our guns. it's actually pretty fun :)
