4th of July

We had a very uneventful Independence Day this year. The day is usually packed with a pancake breakfast, parades, lunch, various water games in the park, a BBQ and fireworks. I'm not really complaining because it felt good to be home, it was just different. We probably could have found things to do if we tried, but I think we were content hanging out at home. Later in the evening we had dinner at Benji's parent's house. We had good food and then watched some fireworks.
Sometimes it's near impossible to get a picture of my boys:

Jordan was afraid of the fireworks, but did good and stayed and watched them. He just had to plug his ears the whole time.

This is Sam asking Jordan if he was okay after the first few fireworks. I love this picture!

Jordan seemed to be fine though, he reenacted fireworks in between each one.

Here is Jordan having a conversation with Benji's grandparents. Jordan was talking non-stop for a few minutes. I'm not sure what he was talking to them about.

Happy Independence Day! We love you America! USA! USA! USA!
