The most ghetto nursery

Hannah possibly has the weirdest nursery I've ever seen. Since her birth was so expensive (we were basically cash paying patients), we have put off buying her nursery furniture for a little while.

So you see that blue storage bin? That is her dresser right now, all of her clothes are thrown in that. Her blankets are in the basket, she sleeps in a pack-n-play, and that toy storage bin is holding her diapers, wipes, socks, bibs, burp cloths, bows, lotion, etc.

And don't even get me started on the Americana themed wall paper.

BUT her basic needs are being met, and she lives in a home where she is loved and adored, so this supports my theory that babies aren't as expensive as everyone tells you. She is expensive, don't get me wrong, but I didn't need to spend thousands of extra dollars on stuff. Just her.

And just look at her, she's perfectly content in her ghetto nursery.
And besides, I like to think that she won't be high maintenance when she's older. ;)

I think it is great! She's cute enough to make up for a lack in furniture.

I agree, we have an old bookcase with bins for clothes and cleverly disguised diaper and wipe boxes that hold things. I wouldn't change a thing since she's sleeping so well in there.

I love you. You literally just made me laugh out loud with your comments. She is perfect. My kiddos have been sick since Christmas and I am just counting down the days until we can come see you. I think this week my baby's nose will stop running. What day can you play? I seriously need to meet her within days or I'll go insane!
