Will he still let you wear him in the Moby? That's been my lifesaver when Jack is extra needy. I think you can even do a piggy back carry with the Moby-- which seems to me to be a safer carry to use in the kitchen (less worry about little hands or feet accidentally touching something hot).

Anyhow, I feel your pain. It's hard to have a baby who needs to be held and a family to take care of as well. But they grow so fast-- he'll be out of this stage before you know it. It's kind of bittersweet, actually.
