Leap Day

I love any excuse to celebrate, so yesterday we had fun celebrating Leap Day.

I decided the best way to celebrate Leap Day with little boys is with frogs. Because frogs leap. Get it? (You better, because it's not that complicated! :))

We made these cute little cupcakes. My boys thought they were so funny, and loved frosting the Nilla cookies for the eyes.

Then we made frogs out of paper plates. We used sponges to add green paint to the plates. My boys loved painting with sponges, I don't know why we haven't done it earlier!

Jordan thought it was funny when his sponge stuck to the plate.

Then we cut out arms, legs, eyes and a long curly tongue.
